Riedmühlepark, Dietlikon

Riedmühlepark lies on the Zurich-Winterthur axis. The international Zurich Kloten airport extends the axis to form a triangle making it extremely appealing as a location. Dietlikon has a large bus network with a bus stop right next to the development. It takes 8 minutes to travel by city train (S-Bahn) from the train station to Zurich-Stadelhofen and 15 minutes to Winterthur. Riedmühlepark is also conveniently located for private transportation: the motorways in the direction of Berne, Basel, St. Gallen and Chur can be reached in just a couple of minutes.

The micro-location is close to nature and, at the same time, is within easy access of an extensive range of infrastructure and services. Riedmühlepark borders on undeveloped agricultural land; a stream in harmony with the landscape flows along the park-like site. The Dietlikon village centre, the shopping mile between Dietlikon and Dübendorf as well as the Glatt Centre offer a wide range of options for shopping and many recreational activities unique to the region.

Sustainability and ecology

The residential complex meets the Minergie-P standard which has the strictest requirements for sustainability and the environment. Based on the Implenia GeNaB standard (Gesamtbewertung Nachhaltiges Bauen - total evaluation of sustainable construction), the complex scores a total of 9 points.

Divisions performance

With a former commercial site as its starting point, Implenia Development AG drafted a design concept for transforming the site into residential housing. A project competition with six architectural firms served as the basis for the design concept.
